Gluten-Free Picnic Recipes for Labor Day Weekend

Gluten-free picnic salad recipes including this lovely quinoa salad with pears
My newest picnic fave- quinoa salad with pears and pecans.

Labor Day is almost upon us. Summer's last bash. To inspire you to dine al fresco I've gathered my favorite gluten-free  picnic recipes, salads, and pot luck supper ideas- in one handy reference. Take advantage of the warm weather and get out of the kitchen. Spread a blanket under a tree or tote a basket to the beach.

Life is short.

We need more picnics.

Did you all know that cold potatoes are MUCH lower on the glycemic index than hot potatoes?

Hi! I have been reading your blog for a while now, but rarely comment. I'm not 100% gluten-free (or anything-free for that matter) but I love how healthy your recipes are. I just wanted to drop a line and say keep making those delicious dishes and thanks for sharing them with us! Your photographs and blog template are always stylish too!

Your website keeps coming up in my search for new recipes, and everything looks great.

I'm 25 and found out in February of this year that I've indeed inherited my mother's Celiac Disease. I've since become quite skilled at cooking from scratch. I just wanted to let you know I very much appreciate your GF baking blog and the inspiration you've given people like myself.

Karina so many of these are staples in our house. The one thing we just discovered was quinoa. We LOVE it and I am sad we didn't try it earlier. I can't imagine how yummy it is with pears, pecans, and as a salad!!! Thanks for the amazing recipes!! :-)

I am SO relieved that I "re-found" the gluten free goddess site. I actually followed your blog a few years ago after realizing I was having inflammation issues that seemed to get worse while eating wheat based products. I stopped being diet savvy after having a couple of kids and not spending much time online with two under two. Now that the kids are getting a little older (everyone is now sleeping through the night and I'm 20lbs heavier)I started looking into Mediterranean diet recipes. Lo and behold... your site pops up! I'm so happy because your recipes always rocked! I'm looking forward to catching up on your blog and trying out these new recipes!
