Vote for Martha's New Food Allergy Mag

A Gluten-Free Good Thing?

Kelly from CeliacChicks just sent the word::

Martha Stewart is having a project competition called the Big Idea.

And you, Dear Reader, can vote...

One of the Big Ideas is a brand spanking new food allergy magazine- with recipes!

From Martha's Blog:

Alexis- Big Idea: To publish a special magazine that offers delicious allergy-friendly recipes, making life for people with food allergies and sensitivities easier and more delicious. Millions of people, including myself, can't eat nuts, dairy, wheat or gluten, and I’d like to empower people to make great recipes even if they can't use all the standard ingredients.

Check it out--- and vote for Alexis' Big Idea today:

Hey, Thanks! Also, thanks for covering the allergy yahoo group. I posted to the listserv last night (although by now maybe it's smothered in ad emails). I also saw it on the SillyYak group email this morning. Just checked and we are leading a bit!!
OH...and Alexis left a comment on my blog!!
So glad I'm able to post a comment today...some days it's blocked...it's very random.

This is incredible! Can you imagine having a Martha Stewart team cooking up recipes?

Thanks for the news!

Thanks for posting this, and I did see it on the Yahoo GFCF recipes too. The ladies over there are VERY excited, they are voting early and often! I'll try to post a little shout-out on my blog too.

This is out of order, but I wanted to mention in regards to one of your posts that I use the Zojirushi BBCCX20 Home Bakery Supreme breadmaker and have for a couple of years. It doesn't have a "gluten-free" cycle, but you can cook gluten-free in it with great results. The full product description even lists that you can cook gluten-free. It is more expensive than the other machine, but it was/is the highest rated breadmaker and is wonderful. It makes regular size loaves of bread, including 2 lb. sizes.

I voted on Martha's poll before I saw this so I am happy you are advertising this.

My secret indulgence---Martha Stewart magazines! I would be so thrilled if there was an allergy one. My hubster and I just voted and an allergy magazine is in the lead by 1%. Keeping my fingers crossed!

I noticed that you can vote more than once--once a day; also that the food allergies magazine was by far the best idea; also that it was winning!
